About This Service
Terraces combine every waterproofing challenge at once: standing water, heavy use, planters, fixed structures, and constant sun. A coating alone rarely survives that. We build terrace systems in layers, from slope-corrected screeds and reinforced membranes to trafficable finishes that handle daily use, so your terrace works as a living space and as a roof.
Whether it is a villa rooftop majlis, a restaurant terrace, or a shared podium deck, we design the system around how the space is actually used and detail every upstand, drain, and fixture properly.
What’s Included
A terrace system is layered. A complete project typically includes the following.
- Survey of slopes, drains, and existing failures
- Screed repair and slope correction
- Reinforced membrane over the full deck and upstands
- Planter, pergola-post, and fixture detailing
- Heat-reflective trafficable finish
- Flood test and drainage check at handover
Key Benefits
Systems specified for furniture, planters, and daily foot traffic, not just bare slabs.
Reflective finishes keep terrace surfaces noticeably cooler in summer.
Upstands, drains, and posts are the usual leak points; we treat them as the core of the job.
Terrace systems carry the same written workmanship warranty as our roofs.

Questions We Get Often
Our terrace was coated twice before and leaked again. Why would this last?
Coatings fail when slope, movement joints, and upstands are ignored. We fix the substrate and details first, then membrane the whole assembly, which is what makes the difference.
Can heavy planters and a pergola stay on the terrace?
They need to be lifted or temporarily moved so the membrane runs continuously beneath and around their fixings. We plan this with you before starting.
Does the terrace need to be tiled afterwards?
Not necessarily. Trafficable coating finishes are durable and cost less; tiles remain an option where you want a particular look.
